Because I’m absurdly proud…

Here’s a pic that shows the gas station I built for the most recent update:

What’s really crazy is that I didn’t even realize that Fast Lane Stuff would have gas pumps.  I’d already decided to start this scene out at a gas station, and I was going to look around in the objects to see what I could use that looked enough like a fuel pump for picture purposes.  Turns out I didn’t need to worry, because I’d just picked up the stuff pack and it had some pumps.  They look retro, but hey–not bad.  I was so happy!

  4. Great servo! It looks exactly like the one just over the hill from where I live (except for the retro pumps :D) I’ve got Fast Lane but haven’t installed it yet, waiting for my major mods to release their compatible versions first.

    • Illandrya: Yes, well, you’re much smarter than I am. I was so excited when I realized I could use the pumps that I popped it in and installed and then realized that I probably had a mod that was incompatible. Sure enough–Jonha’s slider hacks are not supported yet. Luckily, I don’t have any other mods that were in conflict, but I had a good long process of elimination to go through before I figured that out.

      • *lol* … only because I got caught out with Ambitions and knew better this time around. It’s more “once bitten twice shy” than any actual intelligence on my part.

      • Illandrya: Ha! Well, then there’s hope that maybe I’ll remember next time….argh. I really hope Jonha gets the slider hack fixed soon….but this has made me terrified of installing Late Night when it comes out…..I’ll have to be extra vigilant, because I’m super excited about it….

  6. I wasn’t really sold on the new stuff pack until I read your chapter this morning and realized there were pumps. Oh, the possibilities! Love your gas station, it’s terribly cute and clean (:

    • Tipix7: Thank you! It’s set right on the edge of Sunset Valley, just across from the intersection that takes you up to the richest Sims in town, so I figured it would be clean. 😉

  10. It is SO cute! And very nifty the pack is coming with pumps! Sadly the jc hasn’t seen anything else she really likes with the pack 😦 So holding on to her money for the expansion instead. I really like this gas station though! Woulda wanted it in jc’s game too~! 😀
