I began making chapter covers when I wrote Chapter 10 of Story 3, because I grew tired of never shooting pictures just for fun in the game, and because I was inspired by one of my friends, who had posted a fun photo shoot in celebration of her blog’s birthday. I thought they would be a good exercise in posing, costuming, set-building, and photo editing. These often take me quite a while to produce, but it’s one of my favorite parts of the story package. I try to make it like the re-imagined character covers of comic books or graphic novels–like my characters have stepped into an alternate universe, or an entirely different sort of story. It’s a lot of fun, and I can play around with themes and things that are happening in my story, but represent them in an entirely different way. In any case, below are the covers I’ve done to date. On occasion, I forgot to create a cover for certain chapters–so there are some gaps. You can click on a thumbnail to see the larger image.
