Update: Computer Repaired!

The new power supply came in today, and once the hubby installed it, the computer booted up with no problem–all other components functioned perfectly. I started up the game, and all was well! Yay!

For a few weeks before the computer blew up, I’d noticed that the first time I’d start up the game, it would cause a hard crash. On the second attempt it would usually boot up just fine, and I thought it was just one of those wonderful glitchy things. Today, with the new power supply–booted up the first time with absolutely no problem! If all goes according to plan, I should be able to post a new chapter on Friday or Saturday. Thank you very much for your patience!

Technical Difficulties….

My computer is experiencing some major hardware issues that will very likely not be resolved until the weekend (Feb. 13 or 14).  So…the next chapter will be delayed, unfortunately.  It was already a bit delayed because I had to play up to a certain point to make the France visit work well, but I had planned to start shooting pics either today or tomorrow.  In any case, my files are backed up on an external hard drive, so the chances of losing my characters is slim, though I may have to play up to the progress point again. *SIGH*  Anyway, I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and I’ll try to update as soon as I can.

Stories about Sims

I am interested in writing stories framed around my Sims 3 characters.  I have a legacy blog, and am part of a wonderful community at the Sims 3 Legacy blogs, but I didn’t want to take up their space with my other stories.  So, I’m striking out on my own here!  I could have posted on the Sims 3 story site, but I find that it is easier to build stories elsewhere.  So, here we are!
